Oh good, glad you're OK!! I wasn't really really worried, but then again I'm a mom so you know how it goes. :)

super bowl was good...yes very good, indeed.

I don't even know if we TiVo'd the Super Bowl. Yeah, that kind of weekend.

Glad you're okay, though! I was a little concerned, I'll admit, though I trusted that you have enough of a safety net that you weren't actually in a coma on the floor (just concerned that nobody might be able to tell us if you were out of commission).

I'm glad you are feeling better!

I'm glad to hear you're feeling better, Moxie. Rock on!

The action taken to national disaster is great but it's a real shame that so many citizens take advantage of the negative situations.

I mean everytime there is an earthquake, a flood, an oil spill - there's always a group of heartless people who rip off tax payers.

This is in response to reading that 4 of Oprah Winfreys "angels" got busted ripping off the system. Shame on them!

anything to me.Then again, I'm the director of Children's Christian Formation, so I doubt anynoe would say anything unless they wanted an earful. Oh, and a job teaching and running the Sunday school program.I understand that you don't want to leave your church: it's a community and we work really hard to find communities that work for us. But you might try visiting other churches just for a Sunday to see how you are treated and to see what their policies are regarding nursing mothers. I know that I would not want to be a part of a community that did not accept my daughter and I with open arms, and that even though I love my current church such treatment would possibly be enough to make me want to look and see what else was out there. Like you said, no place is perfect, but I wonder how you find God in a place where you are treated like you have a disease. .-= Saisquoi s last blog .. =-.[]

Blah blah blah

  • My expertise is in helping people be who they want to be, with a specialty in how being a parent fits into everything else. I like people. I like parents. I think you're doing a fantastic job. The nitty-gritty of what you do with your kids is up to you, although I'm happy to post questions here to get data points of how you could try approaching different stages, because, let's face it, this shit is hard. As for me, I have two kids who sleep through the night and can tie their own shoes. I've been a married SAHM, a married freelance WAHM, a divorcing WOHM, a divorced WOHM, and now a WAHM again. I'm not buying the Mommy Wars and I'll come sit next to you no matter how you're feeding your kid. When in doubt, follow the money trail. And don't believe the hype.
