    About Me

    This is my philosophy.

Search my archives on the upper left side of the screen. If I haven't addressed your topic yet, send me an email. I get 12-15 questions a day, so yours may not go up on the site, and since I have other jobs I may not answer privately, either. Someday...

New questions post M-F at 6 am (EST), usually, with a book review up on Friday night.

Thank! You! Kate! and Thank! You! Moxie!

I've never gotten any answers about why my placenta failed or why my daughter was so small for date. My OBs all kind of shrugged it off and called it bad luck or a fluke. I've also had one early miscarriage that I know of. My husband and I grieved a lot (I still am in some ways) what we lost with our daughter's birth and what we only nearly lost. We were lucky to take her home. We were probably only hours from a stillbirth when I happened in for a NonStressTest and the nurses noticed she was compressing her cord and stopping her heart.

Now, in the last few weeks, my husband says he feels like he might be able to open his heart and try for another one. I need this study Kate sent. I need to read it and take it with me to my doctor. It might not be our situation, but at least if we can rule it out, we'll have done everything we could to find a good outcome.

I love the internet, too!

Thanks for posting my message, Moxie! I think the link may have been cut off because of the formatting of my original message, so I'll post it here as well.

Also of note on the recall front - "Recod A Voice" toy cell phones sold at Target stores nationwide from September 2006 to January 2007 for about $8. We bought our daughter one for her Christmas stocking last year.

We had five of the trains. My son saw me putting the trains into a box so that we could get new ones and he ran to the train table to add more into the box. He thought I was just putting them into the box for fun. I had to tell him that his beloved James was going on a vacation for a little while but would be back.
