    About Me

    This is my philosophy.

Search my archives on the upper left side of the screen. If I haven't addressed your topic yet, send me an email. I get 12-15 questions a day, so yours may not go up on the site, and since I have other jobs I may not answer privately, either. Someday...

New questions post M-F at 6 am (EST), usually, with a book review up on Friday night.

Hi

I have no knowledge about this personally, but my husband is a cardiologist--he's of the pediatric variety, but he's managing a few pregnant teenagers with heart problems, so he might be able to help. I'll ask him to respond when he gets home tonight. If I forget (or, more likely, get distracted by The Great Toddler Relays), please feel free to e-mail me directly to jog my memory.

As far as I know, there is no data on the effect of coenzyme q10 during pregnancy. There have been studies on pregnant mice and rats that did not have any effects, but nothing for the human variety.

when I was researching it I had difficulty even finding anything that said it could get into your system through the stomach, let alone info on pregnancy.

And I did a LOT of medline-ing. (this was about 18 months ago)
